Ebony Magazine got it right when they coined the phrase for sistas who wear their crowns with style as “Sisters with Hattitude”. That they are! And we love it and celebrate those sistas with our MaxStyle

The tradition of hat wearing and well designed crowns comes out of the traditions of the Black church ladies and Sundays when they moved through the sacred pews like queens. Back then crowns spoke of power and you were awe struck. Now that’s respect and attitude at its best. Sistas of hattitude have come a long way and know the power of the crown and choose them wisely for maximum effect.

The choices are endless and the Sistas of hattitude know the power of their crowns and how they can change a wearers look and mood instantly. Picture J-Lo and Alicia who both love hats and have the spirit of Hattitude. It’s sexy, fun, full of respect and carries a powerful history. Sisters of Hattitude have travelled a long way from the sacred pews to the catwalks, concerts and clubs but the essence has not changed. Nothing defines a queen quite like her crown.
